Question by richard b: Little question about flying domestically…?
Spoke with the outsourced support from priceline but these guys aren’t very reliable and I just wanted to double check. I bought tickets for a Canadian friend who is coming to visit me. He will be driving to the US and flying from a US airport to a US airport. Ticket is in his name and he has a valid Drivers License and an expired passport but they are both Canadian. The rules from what I see just state that a ‘valid government issued ID’ is required to fly, doesn’t specifically say that the country of that ID needs to be a US one. Do you think it will be a problem?

Ok he will need proof of citizenship (birth certificate) and government issued photo id (driver’s licence) to drive across the border. His driver’s licence will be all he needs to get his ticket and board the plane. Don’t even worry about the passport. Expired passport means nothing to anyone anyways.
